Measuring Up: “Don’t Stop Believin'”

Today’s Measuring Up brings to the table four renditions of the Journey classic “Don’t Stop Believin’.” The original was the 84th most downloaded track on iTunes in 2009. Not bad for a song that’s 27 years old!!

Today’s Measuring Up brings to the table three renditions of the Charlie Daniels Band’s greatest hit “The Devil Went Down To Georgia.”

First up, recent Grammy winning best new artist The Zac Brown Band’s take, recorded live at the 2009 CMA awards:

Today’s Measuring Up brings to the table a hardcore cover of the Foo Fighter’s 1997 hit song “Everlong” by the band Jacksonville, FL outfit Evergreen Terrace. The track was posted recently on the band’s MySpace page. The bands Midwest tour ticks off on 3/16 in Houston, TX.
